Huon Pine matching Bookcases.
These two extraordinary pieces are entirely made from Huon Pine boards recovered from a very old Boatshed that sat on the edge of Mill Bay in Strahan Tasmania. We've included an aerial photo of Mill Bay, the boatshed was originally in the bottom left corner of the Bay.
These boards are all a little different, some are even partly burnt and it took a great deal of careful love and attention to make them into something unique and useful like these two Bookcases. They have had a very trying journey so far !
Each one measures : 980 mm wide x 1160 mm high.
We think they belong together but you may differ just let us know.
They are each $ 2,600 and we can't make anymore quite like them sadly.
